Biography

I am a PhD candidate at the joint Emory and Georgia Tech Biomedical EngineeringProgram. I joined the Neuromechanics Lab in Fall 2018 and I am currently working to better understanding the physiological mechanisms behind parkinsonian rigidity.

Research

I have a strong interest in applying control theory to investigate the mechanisms governing human movement. My research aims to improve the quality of life of people suffering from Parkinson’s Disease. My long-term career goal is to run my own research lab to further our understanding of human movement to help improve rehabilitation efforts for individuals with movement impairments.
